Recently, McElroy Films has had the distinct pleasure to work with a local non-profit Victory Programs. The video overviews the many facets of the non-profit including the programs, staff, and methodologies as well as success stories. Victory Programs is dedicated to helping people and their families who may be homeless, have substance use disorders, or chronic health issues like HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and mental illness. The staff at Victory, provides a positive, welcoming environment and is committed to helping their clients regain health and restore hope through immediate access to safe and stable housing. An important part of the philosophy of Victory Programs is the individualized procedures and treatments. Victory Programs has 19 health and housing programs throughout Boston, Cambridge and Topsfield including a farm where volunteers grow organic food for the residents of the Victory housing. Serving over 2600 people a year, Victory Programs is really making a difference in the lives of people in the Boston area and beyond.
