McElroy Films and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America had an exciting weekend. We traveled to Rohde Island to film on location at Dr. Samir Shah’s office. Dr. Shah is this year’s Humanitarian honoree and is on the Chapter Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC) of the New England Chapter of Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and the American College of Gastroenterology’s Practice Management Committee.

We filmed a total of 14 people in 8 hours. As you can see from the photos we chose to use a green screen because of our tight schedule. We also used the new Canon EOS 7D for a B camera all day, which worked out flawlessly and delivered fantastic results.

ccfa-101709-022During production we had to offload media to a MacPro to free up our limited amount of SxS cards for the Sony EX1.

ccfa-101709-027So far we’re impressed with how smoothly the production is going. We have some more shooting coming up in the weeks following the Dinner. We’re confident the final piece will be a memorable one for the honorees and guests.
