Fenway Health Men’s Event 2012 (Video)
McElroy Films was called upon Fenway Health this year to produce a short video for the Men’s Event this March. Special guests included: Congressman Barney Frank, Kate Clinton, Booty Vortex, KISS 108’s Gay Jim and the more than 1,300 gay and bisexual men, transgender people, friends, supporters and volunteers. Fenway Health raised over $600,000 in cash, pledges and in-kind support for Fenway Health.

Boston Video Production Company Takes Home 3 Davey Awards

Another year… another award-winning set of videos. This year saw a new diversity of videos from training videos for the Boston Fire Department, to book trailers, to hugely successful music videos, but the newest award-winners came from long-time clients of McElroy Films.
“Our entire team has a commitment to provide our clients with the best possible product while keeping our costs down,” owner and executive producer Benjamin J. McElroy said. “It’s always nice to be recognized for our work ethic and I couldn’t be happier with the videos that won this year.”
McElroy Films has won three silver Davey Awards in the Non-profit category for videos produced for Fenway Health, New England Pediatric Care and South Shore Habitat for Humanity. While the quality and production value of all McElroy’s videos are top-notch, the videos produced for these three non-profits were especially powerful in their imagery and message.

Boston Based Production Company McElroy Films LLC is pround to announce it has won three Silver Davey Awards in the category Charitable/Non-Profit for the 7th Annual International Davey Awards for 2011. This award is on behalf of the International Academy of the Visual Arts and the Davey Awards. The 2011 Davey Awards feature an incredible pool of over 4,000 entries from the best small firms in the world.

McElroy Films Wins 2011 Bronze Telly Award for Fenway Health Video
“It Will Get Better” just won a 2011 Bronze Telly Award in the category: Charitable/Not-for-Profit. We received the notification yesterday in the mail. We’re very excited to be recognized for outstanding video production in the Boston Area.
Our video was shot back in October of 2010 with the McElroy Films crew and Fenway Health. We actually shot this during some down time in-between takes for another piece for Fenway Health. Glad we took the time and effort to get it right because it sure paid off.

“The Silver Telly Council, our judging and oversight body is comprised of top industry professionals that are past winners of a Silver Telly, Our highest honor.
