What’s better than a night filled with good food and great company? I think probably close to nothing! Last night was the annual “Taste of Burlington 2015” hosted but the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce at the newly renovated Burlington Marriot. The night featured amazing food from 26 of Burlington’s best restaurants like the Marriott’s own CHOPPS American Bar and Grill, L’Andana and the Capital Grille. As a member of the Burlington Area Chamber McElroy Films had the pleasure of capturing the whole night for the chamber to use to promote the annual event on social media and to grab possible new participants for next years event. Not only is this a great time to socialize, it is an amazing opportunity to network and reconnect with people from the local community.
McElroy Films had two videographers on site starting at 2pm; they got some great footage of the location “the taste” was being held at. They were then able to get a short interview with the General Manager of the Burlington Marriott and he expressed his excitement of showing off the new renovation the hotel underwent this past year. Once inside, there were time-lapse cameras set up to make sure a beat wasn’t missed, from when all the restaurants were setting up to the flood of people who overwhelmed the grand ballroom. With such beautiful food and drinks, the focus was mainly on the food and the preparation of what it took to create everything tasted. With crisp, colorful and clean video shots a vibrant video approach was taken in terms of the videography, the food spoke for itself!
We couldn’t thank the chamber enough for partnering with us in order to capture “the tastiest even in town”. Having such a close relationship and being a part of the chamber has helped us grow and connect our business with the community and continues to open up doors for McElroy Films.
