This unique and powerful platform was introduced in 2006 and with it’s flexible business packages, Brightcove allows video content producers like McElroy Films to utilize it’s revolutionary online video tools.

McElroy Films has been producing and publishing videos to the web for several years. We’vebeen on previous video content management systems in the past but nothing compares to Brightcove. McElroy Films is excited to launch an all new McElroyTV channel powered by Brightcove. We have also utilized Brightcove for our partner company McElroy Weddings.

We had the opportunity to work with Davis Advertising of Worcester, MA. McElroy Films was contracted to shoot a TV Commercial called “Think First” a tv campaign for the Webster First Federal Credit Union. Using the New Canon EOS 7D exclusively.

We had multiple locations in and around Worcester. Mainly taking place in residential homes. Each scene featured a different actor or actress saying different one-liners such as, “What’s the best way to safeguard my family’s financial future?

“I finally found the house that I love.  Now I need to find a mortgage.”

We used an Arri 1k softbox chimera, and 2 x 650w for all of the lighting. We also used the Canon 7D with HDMI out to a 26 inch Samsung 1080p monitor for focusing and playback. We had a Canon XL2 to capture audio and an Indie Dolly for all the shots.

Internet video is on the rise and has been for some time. With the introduction of faster connection speeds such as cable, T1 and FIOS we can now enjoy streaming video lightning fast right to our personal computers and portable devices.  Online videos are a great way to put your product or entity in front of your viewers. Online videos can take down the walls and mystique of an individual or organization and puts it in a convenient and informative package the viewer can watch.  Company profiles give the viewer a first hand look at your business. They’ll feel like they already know you when they contact you for business.
